Multilayer Heat Pressure Laminated Bioguard®

Mouthguards are made using a process of Multilayer Heat/Pressure Lamination after receiving models of teeth provided by a dentist. Using high heat, six atmospheres of pressure and multilayers of ethyl vinyl-acetate, or our new more shock absorbent PolyShoK material, this mouthguard provides the following advantages:

Bioguard® Mouthguards are offered in four different types depending on your age and physical activity. Your dentist, or Sportsguard Laboratories, can provide advice and information on which mouthguard is right for you.

Bioguard® Youth

Two layers of EVA material with an approximate thickness of 2.5 mm –includes laminated label with athlete's name. For athlete's under age 10.

Youth-Recreational Sports
Two layers of EVA material with an approximate thickness of 3mm – includes laminated labels with athlete's name. For athletes under 18 without prior history of traumatic head injuries. Logo will be placed on side of guard.

Bioguard II®

Adult-Contact Sports
Two layer of EVA material with an approximate thickness of 4mm – includes laminated labels with athlete's name. Athletes under 18 and/or following sports: field hockey, football, lacrosse, shot putting, soccer, wrestling and weight lifting. For those athletes participating in heavy contact sports and/or have a history of traumatic head injuries or desire added protection. Logo will be placed on side of guard.

Bioguard III®

Heavy Contact Sports
Three layers: Two layers of EVA material and one additional EVA layer over Maxillary Anterior (includes laminated labels with athlete's name). Athletes over 18 and/or following sports: boxing, ice hockey, martial arts, roller hockey and rugby. For those athletes who desire the added protection of an extra layer of EVA over the maxillary anterior.

Designed for optimum comfort, breath ability, and speech.  Single layer on the lingual and palate but still two layers protection where you need it.

Comfort Design

Easier to wear, the mouthguard extends to the distal of the first molar for greater compliance.

Color Combinations

Bioguard® mouthguards are designed not only for maximum protection, but also to give the athlete or team a choice of appearance and style. Team or individual logos or insignias can be put right on the mouthguard. Also, you have numerous colors to choose from to add to the personalization of your mouthguard. Now we can combine two or three of these colors on a single mouthguard.
